I was a member of Co 48 from 1964/65 to 1977. While a member I spent 2yrs 11mo and 28 days in the US Army with approx. 2-3 mos in Vietnam mostly in 3rd field Hospital as a patient. The guys in Co 48 at that time were fully supportive and kept In contact with me. Once back in the states and home on passes or leaves, I couldn't resist making a run for the Fire house when the switch was flipped in the Watch Office of the Factory. enjoyed every minute of being an active member of the company and crew until I was forced to resign due to my work. Back the it was Robert Raffensberger who was Chief. I was also a member of the Ambulance Corps prior to the EMTS entering the picture. The Canteen was the place to grab something to eat and enjoy fellowship. I am rambling so will end. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
Very Nice web site

Running fire calls with Hershey in the late 80s into the 90's was some of the most rewarding times of my life. The Educational opportunities were incredible and the comradery equaled that of the Marine Corps. I'll be home for Christmas with my family and Hope to stop in.
April I will be deploying to Afganistan and although thrilling, it doesn't compare to breaching a wall with Stevie D.
