The Hershey Fire Department was dispatched to a dumpster fire in Derry Township. Chief-48 arrived with a fire in the dumpster. The fire was handled with 1 hoseline from Engine-48.

Just before 5pm the Hershey Fire Department and neighboring departments were alerted for a structure fire. Chief-48 arrived on location with a working fire, smoke showing from the second floor. The fire was quickly extinguished, no injuries were reported.

At approximately 1:30 today the Hershey Fire Department responded to a reported dumpster fire. Engine 48-1 arrived on location to find a well involved dumpster. The fire was quickly extinguished. Engine 48-1 returned available.

Hershey Fire department responded to a reported car fire this morning at 0530. Arriving units encountered a small fire in the engine compartment and inside the vehicle. The garages standpipe system was used to get water to the third floor of the garage. No injuries were reported.

The department was alerted shortly before 4:30am for a reported structure fire. Arriving units found a malfunctioning heating unit. The incident was quickly brought under control.

Fire apparatus from both Hershey and Hummelstown remained on the scene to assist with smoke removal.
