At 08:25 Truck and Air 48 responded on a mutual-aid assignment to the 200 Block of W. Main Street, Palmyra Borough for a reported structure fire. An odor of electrical burning was in the building. Units investigated and found the source of the odor to be a light ballast. Companies, secured the issue and returned. The company was on scene for an hour. There were no injuries reported.

The HVFD was dispatched to the Fairfield Inn and Suites this morning for an Automatic Fire Alarm. Chief 48 arrived to find the hotel evacuated and a report of gas in the mechanical room and laundry area.

HVFD was dispatched to a reported truck into a house with entrapment. Arriving units found a truck into the front of a house. The HVFD secured the utilities. Thankfully the occupant of the home was in another room and escaped without harm.
